For the past twenty years the world has been producing Super Rich individuals. But let’s step back and examine why this
“richness” has not trickled down to the larger population. Is this wealth based on production? Production of what? We have seen a multitude
of production of paper. Yes my friends, paper wealth. Financial services have produced a substantial part of this wealth. New devices
affectionately called “derivatives” have been produced and sold all over the world. Was it sustainable? Remenber paper burns easily. Would you live in a house made of paper? No wonder the whole thing is crumbling. In my opinion real production entail industrial, technological and knowledge based innovations which will redound to the benefit of all of us. Does a fancy financial instrument do that? Only if it will help to make financing of an innovative idea easier.
Think on these things and give me your comments and perspective.

The idea is to stimulate discussion. It therefore means when there is divergent views the objective is being met. All views are welcome
and I certainly don’t expect to have everyone agreeing with what is posted. That would defeat the whole purpose. This time of year is my busy period at work so
come the end of march there will be a lot more postings. I have not been using twitter, facebook or linkedin to post anything as yet. my accounts at all three sites are very uninteresting
at this time. Will endeavour to better utilize those communities in the future.
